How do I wash Fable & Fame garments?
You can wash Fable & Fame garments using the instructions on the garment tags from the original brand. In cases where the original brand’s wash instructions are missing, we recommend washing based on the material content, i.e., wash cotton in your home washing machine but take materials like silk in to be dry cleaned. Our screen printed designs will not be impacted negatively by standard washing procedures.
How do you source clothing?
We source our clothing a number of ways; most come directly from thrift stores. Occasionally we’ll receive pieces from a clothing swap or buy previously unworn pieces from a sample sale.
Our t-shirts and bags are sourced from wholesalers. While these garments are new, we only source new products made from natural fibers; generally 100% cotton. While no material is perfect, by choosing natural fibers, we can prioritize biodegradability and ensure that our clothes are not going to outlive us by centuries in landfills.
Will the design hold up over time?
Our screen printed designs are as hearty as any you’d buy from a large retailer. We use professional quality screen printing products to create our upcycled designs. Your Fable & Fame garment will not fade like a first gen Era’s tour t-shirt.
Do you accept returns?
Because we are a very small business with limited resources, we do not typically accept returns. Garment measurements are included in the product listing to help ensure a comfortable fit.

Do you offer international shipping?
Unfortunately, at this time, we are only able to ship within the United States. Shipping abroad from the United States is prohibitively expensive for our small business to do as a regular part of our operations. If you’re located outside the U.S. and determined to get one of our products, please email us at [email protected] we’ll do our best to get you an estimate of potential shipping costs.
